Johan & Moh | Amelia Island Wedding | Elopement Photography

Johan and Moh met while salsa dancing, and their connection on the dance floor led to a real life love connection. Elopement photography is such a beautiful thing to me, people who choose to do their wedding in a way that solely reflects their love and not anyone's expectations for their day are special.

I got to sit with Johan as she got ready to marry her love. I got to laugh with her and Moh as he tried his hardest not to look at her while they were in the same room, and capture the moment when she hid behind a pillow so he wouldn't see her all made-up. They got to sleep in and take their time getting ready. Johan had shrimp and cheese while kicking back right before she put her dress on.

When it came time to meet the officiant and go to the beach, Johan was mostly concerned about making sure the cake was fully intact, because she was so excited about that german-chocolate goodness.

If I were to boil this day down like sugar, the sweetness it produced would be best described as a unique love-filled spontaneity, with maybe a hint of chocolate and grapefruit perrier.

Your wedding day CAN focus on your love. It doesn't have to meet any other traditional requirements.
