Mikaela & Junior | Arizona Mountain Wedding
Sometimes a wedding is less an event and more an experience. I flew to Arizona for Mikaela and Junior's wedding, and as someone who's never spent much time in Arizona, I was pretty awed by the diversity and sheer gorgeousness of it. An outdoor wedding is always a spectacular idea, but this time around it was a little EXTRA spectacular. I'm not QUITE sure who got to the desert part of AZ and thought it was going to be the best place to stay and live in, given that the ground is any number of combination of rocks, cacti, BIGGER rocks, and SAGUARO. But, settle there people did, and I'm sure that when they got to the mountains, as I did, that they were just as stunned by the overlooks, the ridges and the pines.
Even more stunning than the beauty all around us, were the people, the love, the way two families, one all the way from Spain, came together in a destination far from where any of them live, and showed each other support, rejoiced with each other, and celebrated Mikaela and Junior.
Thanks for letting me be a part of the family for the weekend, guys. Junior, I'm thankful that I didn't lose you and your mom and José in Walmart for too long. Mikaela, thanks for trusting me to make a good playlist for your reception. :D
Love you guys, hopefully I'll be able to visit Madrid sooner rather than later!

If you so choose, Josh Garrel's song Heaven's Knife, which Mikaela walked down the aisle to, would be an excellent choice to listen to as you look at the pictures. Enjoy!
