Seth & Lauren | A DIY Florida Backyard Wedding
There's really nothing like a backyard wedding. But it's even MORE special when the people getting married are your brother and the girl he loves.
Seth & Lauren found the perfect place for a backyard wedding at a cabin in the woods of Nobleton, Florida. Seth's mom (incidentally, she's also my mom ;)) cooked and froze the meat for sandwiches for the Groom's Table and Bride's Table until her freezer was full, we had craft days where we made all the decorations, Lauren and my mom even grew succulents and foraged for native plants to make up the centerpieces and the aisle runners.
In the weeks leading up to the day the forecast was off and on predicting rain for the day of, but the morning of February 20th, everything was lovely.
For the first time (and I don't plan on making a habit of this) I was both bridesmaid and photographer, but my dear friend Ryan came down and covered all the parts of the day that I was participating in, and just generally took care of everything I was worried about and got beautiful incredible shots. His work is liberally scattered through this post and I'm so incredibly thankful that I had the chance to "collaborate" with him on this.Check him out at ryaninman.com as well.
Lauren, thanks for loving my brother so well. We're so glad you're a part of our family.
